2013 Music Announcements

So, 2013 is only ten days old, but already there have been some pretty monumental music announcements, all of them coming in the past three days.

First, on Tuesday, David Bowie announced that he would be releasing his first album of new material in 10 years.  The album is called The Last Day and will be in stores on March 12.  He also released a video for the first single off the album called "Where Are We Now?"  Check it out here:

Then today we got not one but two pretty big announcements.  I'll start with the least exciting news first.  Beyonce announced today that Destiny's Child would be releasing their first new music in 8 years on January 29.  The album is called "Love Songs" and it is basically a collection of ballads from previous DC albums.  So, if you own all their other CD's buying this one is probably a waste.  The new music B refers to, is one new song called "Nuclear," which is co-written and produced by Pharrell Williams.  I am excited about downloading this new song on iTunes, but am a little disappointed that there isn't a whole album of new music.  Bonus DC news:  Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland will be joining Queen B at the Super Bowl Halftime Show.  Here is the album art for "Love Songs:"

Finally, the thing I am the most excited for.  Today, my man, Justin Timberlake released a YouTube video announcing that after 7 excruciatingly long years, he will be releasing new music.  I will be waiting with bated breath for the single to drop.  Here is the video that JT released:
