So, I'm pretty sure everyone knows that today, Barack Obama was sworn in for his second term as President. This blog isn't about politics, so I'm going to refrain from waxing poetic about his inclusive, progressive, hopeful speech. This is a blog mainly about entertainment, so I thought I'd highlight the musical performances of the afternoon. James Taylor folked out to "America the Beautiful" and then, Kelly Clarkson and Beyoncé Knowles-Carter made me even prouder to be an American with performances of "My Country 'Tis of Thee" and "The Star Spangled Banner" respectively.
