Britney Spears apparently decided to start off the new year with a purge. First, she announced that she would be leaving Fox's The X-Factor after one season as a "judge" to focus on her "music." Yes, both those words should be in quotes. If you watched any of X-Factor it was painfully obvious that all Brit Brit knew how to do was make stank faces and read off prepared comments that were probably written down and given to her by her manager 5 minutes before she came on stage. As far her music is concerned, it's not like she is that involved in the process. She shows up warbles into the mic and then her various producers work their magic.
Then, today Britney broke off her engagement to her conservator/fiance, Jason Trawick.
Damn Britney. What's next? Are you giving Jayden James and Sean Preston up for adoption? Will underwear be the next thing to go? Again. I'm quivering with anticipation.
Anyways, if you are more interested in Brit's "music" than her personal life, here she is doing her best to serve up some Downton Abbey realness in the video for will.i.am's "Scream and Shout."
